K-II Meter



This handheld device is a special type of Electromagnetic
Field (EMF) detector. An EMF detector locates and tracks
energy sources, and picks up on fluctuations in electromagnetic
fields in the surrounding environment. So the idea is that
ghosts can actually communicate with the living by disturbing
the electromagnetic fields that surround the K2 device.

One of the prevailing theories is that ghosts need energy to
"feed on" in order to manifest.  If that's the case, then a
natural conclusion would be that areas with high EMF readings
would attract ghosts as a restaurant would attract patrons.
As a spirit "feeds," it then produces a phenomena, or spike, to
show its presence.



IR Camcorder



IR Camcorders are an important instrument for an investigation. 
Unlike still cameras they provide us with constant visual and
audio surveillance in the dark for review and observation.  The video
cameras we use are equipped with infrared capability and this is the mode we use.



Voice Recorder



The main reason for having an audio recorder on hand during an investigation is to record potential EVPs. This phenomena occasionally is heard when an intelligent being is attempting to communicate with us. This can come through as a voice, taps, or other audible disturbances. This is particularly notable when heard as a response to a question or a request for signs of one's presence.



DVR Recorder And Cameras



A digital video recorder (DVR), are an excellent tool because they can be set up and left alone to record all night (depending on the DVR storage capacity).  These can be expensive, however, due to the amount of equipment needed, (cameras, transmitters, receivers, DVR's, monitors, etc...) and are nice to have, but are not an absolute necessity to conduct a solid investigation.
